Nicole Guarino

Born in São Paulo and currently based in London, Nicole has worked as a dancer with companies in Brazil, Holland and the UK. Since 2010, she develops her photographic practice in parallel to her career as a dancer and occasional choreographer.
She has received commissions from dance companies, conservatoires and organisations across the UK, and her images have been featured in promotional campaigns by Scottish Dance Theatre, Creative Scotland, Dundee City Council, Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Article 19, Verve, Northern School of Contemporary Dance, Mark Bruce Company, Eleesha Drennan Dance, Sweetshop Revolution and Greenwich Dance amongst others.
In 2012 her work was displayed at the V&A’s ‘Transformation & Revelation‘ exhibition in London.
