  • If you are on this list you have either signed up via a mailchimp form on our website or social media, by leaving your details on a postcard, by emailing one of the JCD team members directly. We keep your data under the ‘Consent’ framework of GDPS because you have given us clear affirmative action that you wish to receive information.

  • From 25 May 2018, the ebulletins you receive will have details about the framework we hold your details under.
  • We do not share any of your information with anyone else.
  • We hold your information to be able to keep you updated of performances, teaching opportunities and news about the company, to see how effective our ebulletins are and to see which content is popular.
  • If we hold your data under the ‘Consent’ Framework, we only ask for contact details via a mailchimp form or on postcards handed out at venues, all our data is recorded and managed solely on mailchimp.
  • We recognise your right to access your information and can provide information on what data we hold on you, on request.
  • Mailchimp provides us with processes that help us make sure your information is up to date.
  • We recognise your right to ask us to erase the data we hold on you.
  • We recognise your right to ask us to restrict the way we use your data.
  • We recognise your right to move, copy or transfer your data without hindrance to usability.
  • We have procedures in place to handle individual objections.
  • None of our processing operations constitute automated decision making.
  • We do not use paid external processors. But use a free Mailchimp account to manage our mailing lists.
  • Our Management team understands the business impact of personal data risks, supports data protection legislation and promote a culture of compliance.
