John Kendall

John trained at Scottish School of Contemporary Dance before becoming part of EDge, the postgraduate company of London Contemporary Dance School. During this time, John worked with a variety of choreographers including: Martin Forsberg, Ben Duke, Jorge Crecis, Mathew Robinson, Rocco Vermijs, Thomas Small, Pete Shenton and Daria Buzovkina.
In 2011 John engaged in a yearlong Dance Fellowship with balletLORENT following a successful application to the BBC Performing Arts Fund. John is still a member of the company and has danced in various works including la nuit intime, Underneath the floorboards, Rapunzel, Snow White, and The Night Ball. John has also collaborated with a range of other choreographers and companies including Robby Graham (Southpaw), Anthony Lo-Guidice, Rob Heaslip and Nathan Johnstone.
